Upper Pembina River Fisheries Education Session
The Upper Pembina river, upstream of Lodgepole, Alberta, is the southernmost extent of the natural range of Arctic grayling in Alberta. The Pembina River is currently closed to angling as part of a five-year recovery rest period for Arctic Grayling. The long-term goal for the Upper Pembina River is to achieve our shared objective of maintaining sustainable fish populations now and into the future while still providing opportunity for use by all Albertans in accordance with Alberta’s Fisheries Allocation Strategy.
Join Alberta Environment and Parks fisheries staff to learn about the current status of the fish populations in the Upper Pembina river.
